未亡人にして涙で目を濡らさせるのを恐れてのことか
きみが独身のままその身を無為に費やしてしまうのは
ああ、きみが子どもも作らず死んでしまうことになれば
世界は夫に先立たれた妻のように嘆くことだろう。

世界は未亡人となって永遠とわに嘆くことになる
きみがきみの似姿を残さなかったことで
世間の未亡人は誰しも子どもの目を見ることで
夫の面影を思い浮かべることができるというのに。

いいかね、この世で浪費家がいくら使おうと
金は場所を変えるだけ、いつでも世間はそれを使える
ところが、美は浪費すればこの世から消え
使わずに取っていても同じく美の破滅となる。

　　他人を愛する気持のない者が
　　そんな恥ずべき殺人を自分に犯すのだ。
