きみがわたしのことを軽く見積もり
わたしの取柄を軽蔑の眼で見る時が来れば
わたしはきみの味方をして、わたし自身と戦い
きみが誓いを破っても、きみが正しいと主張しよう。

自分の弱点をよくわきまえているので
人には知られていない罪で汚れていると
きみのために話をでっち上げることができる
わたしを捨てることで、きみが大いなる名誉を勝ち得るのなら。

そのことで、わたしも利益を得る
なぜなら、わたしの愛情はすべてきみに捧げているので
わたしが自分に加える危害によって
きみの利益となるのであれば、わたしには二重の利益となる。

　　わたしの愛はかくも大きく、わたしはきみのものであるので
　　きみが正しいとするために、わたしはすべての罪を被ろう。
