恐怖で自分のせりふを忘れてしまうように

自分の怒りの激しさに勇気まで挫いてしまうかのように

わたしは自分に自信を失くして
恋の儀式のせりふを言うのをすっかり忘れてしまう
そして自分自身の恋の激しさで衰弱し
自分自身の恋の力の重荷に押しつぶされる。

ああ、ならばわたしの台本に雄弁に語らせよ
語らんとするわたしの胸の無言の先触れとし
愛を嘆願し、愛の見返りを求め
多くの言葉で多くを語る舌よりも雄弁に。

　　ああ、沈黙の愛が書いたものを読みとってほしい！　
　　目で聞くことこそ愛を知るすばらしい知恵。
