いや、「時」よ、驕るな！わたしは心変わりなどしない
当代の技術を凝らして建てたというおまえのオベリスクも
わたしにとっては目新しくも、珍しくもない
そんなものは昔の光景の焼き直しにしか過ぎない。

人の命は短い、それゆえ人は、古い物だと
ごまかして見せられれば驚きもする
それに、前に話を聞いたことがあると思うよりは
自分の好みに合わせて新しく作られた物だと信じるものだ。

おまえの記録も、おまえのことも笑ってすます
過去にも現在にも驚きはしない
おまえの記録も、いま見えるものも、嘘っぱち
やっつけ仕事でいい加減。

　　生きている限り、こう誓う
　　「時」と「死神」を恐れず、真実一路を貫くと。
